Kyaw Htoo, 7, is carried home from Mary’s Place by his sister, Thida Tway, 17, after trick-or-treating on Halloween in Webster, NY, October 31st, 2011. Kyaw Htoo’s family came to Rochester, NY as refugees from Burma, after living in a camp in Thailand for over 20 years. This was Kyaw Htoo’s second time trick-or-treating.

Human players stare at Zombies through the entrance to Helen Fish Hall at RIT in the early morning hours of September 19, 2011. The Live Action Role-Playing Game lasts through the week, as human players try to defend themselves from infection with nerf guns and sock ‘grenades’ while zombies must tag the human players. The teams are denoted by green buffs, worn on the head by zombies and on the arm by humans.

Michael Peterson, a second year Glass Sculpture major, finishes the Yellowjacket Invitational held on October 15th at Genesee Valley Park. Peterson finished 69th overall with a time of 28:40 for 8km.
