Royce Terry, a Monroe County Community College Fire Safety and Technology Senior with the West Brighton Fire Department, advances on a car fire along Idle Lane, Saturday, December 3, 2011. The car appeared to have been driven along the property boundary of John Hess, as tire tracks led through the soft, muddy grass to where the car became engulfed in flames on property owned by the Town of Brighton. Hess is currently in litigation over prior trespassing violations with his neighbor for driving vehicles through his property. Sue Hall, a local resident who made a 911 call to report the fire, witnessed people in the woods with the apparently stuck vehicle about 30 minutes prior to it becoming enflamed, who then left the vehicle some five minutes before she noticed the fire and called 911.
