The whole mantra, “Get it in capture…” I didn’t use fill on this select; it wasn’t filling in the way I wanted it to with his transition lenses and his hat. I liked the shadows (hindsight, maybe not) from the brim. So… two hours of toning and color correcting and cursing myself for being shortsighted landed me with something a lot better than raw byproduct of the 1:30pm sun I had to work with. Then I saw the fly on the brim.
